Advice needed please on renters insurance, Richmond area. Hi
Just rented a house in Richmond and now looking for renters insurance with third party liability cover as well.
Are there any good companies to contact with good prices?
Can it be done online or do I have to go to an agent's office?
Thanks

You can get a quote online through Square One. Prices have always been reasonable for the coverage for me. https://www.squareoneinsurance.com/ I cant speak to how easy it is to file a claim since I've never had to do it before with them. There's also BCAA which gives you a discount if you're a member.
Good options for renter's insurance? I need some pretty minimal coverage, I don't really have a lot of stuff, but apparently my building is now requiring everyone to have insurance.
Does anyone know good/reasonable brokers?

I've always found great rates with Square One. You can modify your coverage so it has exactly only what you need. (For example, a lower amount for possessions, or not covering jewelry if you don't have any, etc.). https://www.squareoneinsurance.com/
Any recommendations on insurance brokers for a rental property in Calgary? As recommended in my previous [thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/PersonalFinanceCanada/comments/5j4ce8/is_it_worthwhile_getting_insurance_for_my_condo/), I am now looking to get my rental property insured. So I called TD insurance (I have auto insurance from them) but since the property has been insurance less the past few years, I was refused. TD rep was helpful enough to recommend I see an insurance broker who will be able to assist.
Can you recommend a couple?

Hi neighbours, I have to obtain builder's risk insurance for an upcoming Seaton Village renovation. Would anyone be able to recommend a trusted insurance broker or carrier?
I'm shopping around for condo insurance quotes. Who do you use and do you recommend them? I'm especially interested if you had a claim and whether or not the company handled the situation went well/poorly. Thanks in advance :)

Any recommendations for a good well priced insurance agent?
My home town one is cancelling my policies for tenants and commercial insurance because I live on Toronto. Makes no sense to me as back home has higher thefts than here lol.

We are running into an issue with our collective house in Vancouver. We need to find an insurance company that will insure us with 10 people in an 8 bedroom, 2 kitchen house.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
