I use photoguard pro, i'm £30 and have had to make a claim, they are pretty quick with payment, AJ johnstone are terrible at completing the job however, 4 months for a lens, 7 months for a camera, which they said the sensor was now broken 4 months after they had it.
Rod H. replied:
Yep agreed photoguard for me as paid out twice in 3 months no problems
good morning everyone thankyou for letting me join your group…..can anyone possibly recommend a good camera insurance co?
Jimmy M. replied:
I use photoguard.co.uk :)
Danielle H. replied:
mine was under the home insurance too but I've heard of photoguard too. Some companies wont insure a camera over 5 years old but home insurance usually has another policy which covers you outside the house even abroad
Gary F. replied:
It depends what kind of insurance you want. Some councils require you to have public indemnity insurance and/or public liability. You'd need it for weddings too. I'm looking into mine right now and have narrowed it down to Cliik, Aaduki and Photoguard.
