  Minnesotan's with luscious locks-- who is your go to barber?? We've spent the last few years trying to find a barber or stylist who wouldn't butcher my man's crazy Armenian mane, with no luck. Tried a few Gents locations around the cities and yikes! Tried a reputable barber shop in Victoria and suddenly my fiancé had a mullet. Now he's got hair down to his shoulders thanks to Covid, and could definitely use some layers to help him style it. If you guys have ANY recommendations for people who know how to work with a mountain of hair PLEASE let me know!

  Hair stylist for curly hair I just moved to the Twin Cities from Western Wisconsin, where no one quite understood my Italian curls/waves. (The first young woman who cut my hair 8 years ago asked where I wanted my bangs trimmed to - when I told her they were usually just above my eyebrows, she cut them a solid 1/2" above my brow line. Had the baby-bangs look whether I wanted it or not.) I've spent the past 8 years with acceptable hair, but I'm hoping for better now. Can anyone recommend a stylist who understands curly hair and really listens? Thanks!

  [East 42 nd St Salon](http://e42 salon.com/). Despite appearances, they are conveniently located on Nicollet and 48 th St (heh) in South Minneapolis. Some years ago they had a curly-hair specialty called what I think was called Deva Certified?? But alas, having strait hair myself I inquired none.
