We're looking for a contractor to take our 2 bedroom/1 bath to a 3 bedroom/2 bath. In talking to our neighbors about their similar projects within the last three years, our preferred GC's estimates are coming in really high. We are looking for your thoughts on a design/build contractor- the good, the bad, and the avoid at all cost guys.

  You can request an estimate from https://www.contractorconnection.com . The Contractor's that are on their program are all vetted to work on insurance repairs and use the same price list which is based on a market average. You may not use them. It they will be able to give you an estimate for the market average for your project.
