Maybe 3 plan is to just rough it, sleep in the trucks or hammocks get to ensenada and meet some people and follow big groups or support trucks and offer some help if they need it I know we need Mexican insurance.   I'll be done there Nov 8-12. U might be able to find a team who needs help on race-deZert.com . If you've never been the race is a bucket list but I highly recommend going down the week before the race for the prerun. Actual race week is kinda boring, your going to be in shitty spots surrounded by allot people . The pre-run is much better, you can drive the course , check out the sights , hang out with racers , it's basically a big cruise through the desert . -Take spare tires -get south , do not hang around Ensenada. San Felipe is a good spot without getting to deep .

  No to the Tahoe. You could build the entire k5 for what your front suspension on the Tahoe would be. Get on Dezertrangers.com and race-dezert.com and do some research. Or I can spend your money for you. I'm good at that.
