  I've been overwhelmed trying to find a reputable company to install hardwood floors. The first company I chose had terrible communication, sent wood that didn't match the sample, and used sub-contractors with very little experience. I canceled the project right after they started demolition and destroyed my subfloor. Does anyone know of a reliable, trustworthy and reasonably priced company? My house is half torn up and I need to find someone soon! Thanks.

  I used to work at a showroom that sold flooring and we regularly referred people to Dallas Watson Flooring for installations. They do a good job, although I don't know where they fall price-wise. (You don't have to buy the flooring from them.) http://dallaswatsonflooring.com

But before we occupy we want to replace the floors - anyone have recommendations for a local company that can do it relatively quickly? The other complication is that I won't have exact measurements until the 14th. So far the only options we've found are Empire and Lumber Liquidators and we'd love to support a local business.
