This is one of the years we want to take the flu vaccine because there is a really serious flu going around. ....but Melanie, my GF, is not supposed to take it. She takes shots for her arthritis, biologicals and the doctor and the pharmacy company say she should not take the flu vaccination because these new biologicals they inject, lower your immunity and the vaccination can actually make them quite ill...and yet, my GF works in a high flu risk environment. She works in a University and is exposed to young folks...from all over the world...every day. Suggestions? Ideas? Knowledge?

  Zicam is for colds, not for the flu. If she does get the flu, see if her doctor can prescribe this for her: http://www.tamiflu.com Oh and wow, what a koinky-dink about the psoriasis and your Dads!!

  Zicam kills germs that would enter through your nasal passages...and they say that Tamiflu is not working very well this year on this strain of virus.
