  ISO dentist that takes medicaid(anthem)/medicare $1 - Fredericksburg, VA Delete if not allowed. I am looking for a dentist for my mother who has early onset dementia. Unfortunately it is not as simple as calling her provider, as the ones on the list that I've called either accept her insurance and are NOT taking new patients OR they only accept her insurance for dental cleaning and checkups, not dental work like fillings and etc. Dental health is such an important part of personal care and bacteria is shown to influence mental health, much in the way UTIs can influence memory. If anyone is positive of a place that accepts her care, I would very much appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction

  Medicaid provides very basic dental benefits for adults over 21. It only covers emergency appointments and pulling teeth.. Medicare doesn't offer any dental benefits unless you have purchased an additional dental plan. Anthem healthkeepers typically has very high deductibles meaning it won't cover any dental work until you have paid over $2000 in dental work out of your pocket. If it's Anthem BCBS it would probably provide more dental benefits. You can call 540-710-0400 if you would like to set up an appointment@D&D Family Dentistry
