  CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME? I am looking for a new doctor (general or family medicine), and would like recommendations of a doctor you love and trust. I need one in the Temecula area, but can travel a little farther if necessary. I want a "real" doctor with an M.D. - I don't want to see any "physician assistants". My present doctor insists on seeing his patients every month or so, even when in good health, in order to "keep track" of them. (I suspect money is also a factor here.) He calls his patients "non-compliant" and threatens to dismiss them as patients (and does - by certified mail) if they balk at his "orders". I have told him over and over that I live an hour away, that I am dependent on others for rides, and that it is very difficult for me to travel unless absolutely necessary. He doesn't care. His office insists on making the next appointment, even when you tell them you can't make it on the date specified. Then when you call to cancel the appointment that you told them you couldn't make in the first place, you are chastised - and threatened. I have now been called "non-compliant" for canceling several appointments, and have been threatened with being dismissed as his patient. This is intolerable and stupid, and I can't deal with this any more. I hope that you folks can recommend several doctors to me. Thank You.
