Random question: does anyone have recommendations for a holistic dentist? Pediatric and adult. Thank you.

Yes - Dr Warlick in Wimberley is worth the drive. His hygienist, Carol vander Stoep, also works out of Dr Sefcick's office so some may recognize her from there. Carol has a book out called "Mouth Matters" ... her site is www.mouthmattersbook.com. She is a myofunctional therapist, working on mouth/muscle positioning and is superb. She delivers information on mouth exercises, mouth breathing, tongue positioning and exercises (all part of myofunctional work). She polishes the teeth with essential oils and not fluoride. Dr Warlick's knowledge is solid too, and his office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. He was able to do fillings on two of my kids (12 and 15) using no anesthesia, and they reported no pain (they were to raise a hand if they experienced pain and he would numb it. Here is a website I use when finding dentists: www.doctoroogle.com. It is a user-compiled database of reviews and ratings of dentists, orthos, endodentists, etc.
