  I have a customer who researched lots of options. Their main criteria was coping with their extreme lack of tech experience. They settled on: http://www.amburapp.com/ I installed it for them and must say it was fairly easy to do and it seems to cope with a reasonable array of POS printers, cash registers. etc.
