I wasn't informed of my medical condition and kept quiet about it until a few weeks before my labor. When she knew about it September 2014 and I just found out around Mid January 2015 because of the re test(I gave birth in February 3, 2015). She stated that the health department should be the one to inform me but she knew all those times but never told me about it. She kept saying the levels are high but i'm good that's from September all the way to January until the re-test, I was made to believe that everything was fine. This is the biggest mistake which has caused me too much not knowing it earlier financially and emotionally. Had to make medical decisions , that were against my beliefs due to withheld information or should I say misinformation. I clearly stated multiple times that i wanted a water birth which would cost extra $100. I was instructed to get a specific birthing kit which didn't include the birthing tub. I was never instructed to order anything else. Lesson learned i should have did it myself and should not wait for her instructions. Didn't went to last PP check up. She texted me 3/20/2015 that she got called to a birth but after that i never received any information regarding about the next check up date. Ignored my text for over a month about my remaining due balance payment through Paypal @ 06/29/2015 (Before that she ignored my text 05/29/2015 about me actually dropping by her office to give her the remaining balance that i owe her) and failed to give me my receipt for 4/10/2015 payment until 07/31/2015. Not the 1st time that my calls or text are ignored and will get a reply a day or 2 sometimes will not get a reply at all. I use to be able to view my payments online but since she have move/change to another site then I didn’t have access to any of my information. The thing is the last payment which is $30 she said dont worry about it because i lost it on my way to her place because i have paid her cash. Then after a couple of months has passed. She hasn't sent me my receipt yet. So i thought ok i need to pay her and texted her but like i said it was ignored. She was so surprised that i was mad. Put yourself in my position with all the things you have done. I believed all the good reviews about her. If i only knew she would withheld very crucial medical information from me. I would have change midwives asap!!! hopefully i'm the only one that's been treated this way. if not we need to speak up!!! people need to know the truth! so that she can change her ways!
