I used to go to flagler, but now live in weeki wachee. I want to do a wedding and reception in St augustine and only have a 7,000 dollar budget. I don't even know where to start. Every place weve looked is expensive. Any help?

Stay here. It's where our families stayed for the wedding and we liked their rooms so much we've been back a few times. http://www.stgeorge-inn.com/
My wife and I are planning a long weekend to St Augustine in the next few weeks. We are considering retiring early and moving there. We have never been there but have heard such great things we are anxious to come and check it out! We would love some info on where to stay to get a good feel for the area. We hope to look around and decide if this is the place we want to be and which area. Any info would be appreciated!

St. George Inn ((904) 827-5740) or St. Francis Inn ((904) 824-6068) are great places to stay. Both are on the internet. Too many great restaurants to list but two of my favorites are O'Steens (best shrimp) and Catch 27 (fresh seafood) but both have other items too. This historic city is my paradise!
Hello Facebook friends. Bruce and I are looking for a quik getaway during winter break. We love walking towns and exploring new places. We've done Savannah and Charleston and adored both. Can you recommend other similar towns within driving distance?
