  Shared your post with a friend of mine who is a graphic artist, she's just starting her business so her rates are likely reasonable. Also, logosnap.com has stock logos where you can chose an image, change the color and and choose your front. They are donation bailed; I got mine for $10!

  a friend of mine put it up for competitive bid at LogoSnap.com. You put up a bid for work starting at $200, give a few parameters, designers submit their ideas, and within 7 days you pick a winner. Increase the amount you want to pay and you get more submissions. He said that around $250 was the sweet spot between value and a high number of quality submissions from designers.
