  Anne-Marie Jackson - my understanding is that if this is the person's own company you don't need to tip but if the person doing your hair is one of a number of people working for another person then you should tip the usually expected 18-20% if your happy that is. Bear that in mind if you are researching or maybe I am wrong but I was told this by locals. I have used Lisa of http://lisasmagicalweddings.com/ before for a private party and she came to my hotel.
