Hair salon for curly hair I’m in need of recommendations for LA hair salons that can handle curly hair. As those of you with curly hair know, it can be hard to find a stylist that understands how to work with curly hair and especially color it. I usually wear my hair blown out and I’m looking for a place that can do a great cut & balayage. I’m willing to travel too - definitely can be on the outskirts of LA. Something that won’t break the bank but is still pricy enough to make it clear they do a good job!

Also wanted to mention that salonapprentice.com is a good way to find a discounted rate, Ive had pretty good luck with both replying to posts and making my own for specific requests. Best of luck, curly friend!
Where can I get a decent, affordable haircut? Female with long hair. I’m looking for any recommendations on salons that won’t break the bank. Preferably Williamsburg, bushwick, o

Need a cheap, dependable haircut. I’m 24F living in Park Slope. Tired of paying $75-100 on a haircut when my hair grows so quickly. I’m willing to travel to anywhere in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Looking for a hairdresser or salon that will give me a basic cut and layers every few months.
Suggestions?
Can anyone recommend somewhere to get a woman's haircut? Help
It's been so long since I've had a decent haircut I'm not even sure where to go. Would like to pay below $100 ideally. Willing to go most anywhere within transit reach for the right place. If you've had a great cut recently, please tell me about it.
Women's pixie cut under $35? Hey y'all. My favorite place to get my hair cut has just closed. Does anyone know any unisex barbershop or hair salon that does really nice pixie cuts for cheap? I'm not ready to spend over $45 for just a styled trim. Thanks!

Looking to get my hair cut pretty short, for cheap! Is that possible? I would love to be a "model" for someone going to beauty school or something similar. I have very curly, thick hair.
Any leads? Thanks in advance :)

Cheap place for male scissor hair cut? Can anyone recommend a place in Manhattan to get a cheap-ish ($20 max) scissor haircut for a man. Really just a trim. Ideally they would accept walk-ins.
Hair salon recommendations? I'm a poor college student and usually get cut and color.

I've been recommending [Salon Apprentice](http://www.salonapprentice.com) to my friends. I've received free blowouts and haircuts. I get a bleach and tone monthly for my blonde hair at Stephen Papageorge Hair Academy in Lakeview. I've gone to salons that wanted to charge me up to $400 for the same service. No, thanks. I pay $60 instead and they do a far superior (but slower) job.
Hello! I'm looking for a hair salon that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. I have pretty long hair, probably right above my behind. I'm looking for a place to trim my ends. I'd say about 2 or 3 inches. I'm willing to pay about $30 dollars max. Last time I trimmed my ends I paid 50 bucks and coming from Texas that is VERY expensive considering it's just the ends.
All suggestions are welcome. I'm locates in Brooklyn and am willing to travel to Manhattan.
Edit: Thank you guys so much for your suggestions!!!

Trans-friendly hair stylists? Any recommendations on good hairstylists for trans women in Chicago? I need a more professional looking cut since I just moved here. I don't really want it to be all about being trans, either, like I don't want a bunch of invasive questions or good for you moments or even people who think being trans is a cool statement "against the man" or anything... just a normal cut to a normal style in a low key way, preferably with being trans never having to come up... (Price ranges would also be helpful, but not a big deal!)

I use [Here](http://salonapprentice.com/) to look up cheap, professional jobs. I most recently went to Chicago Ave Salon on Chicago/Damen and they were really nice to me
I need to get a decent haircut in Chicago I currently live deep in the French countryside. The local hair salon, while cheap, leaves something to be desired.
I'm visiting Chicago for work in a couple of weeks, and I want to get my hair cut in my native language. Can somebody recommend a decent salon (yeah, I get my hair cut at a salon) in the downtown area who will cut my hair for, say, $40 or $50.
While I can always take a cab, I'm going to be staying near Michigan and Ontario.
Edit: I accidentally a word.

Check out Art & Science on Halsted. (there are a couple other locations but this one is likely closest to you.) They have EXTREMELY talented stylists and you can see different levels of stylists for different prices. I used to see a mid level stylist (who was amazing,) and paid 50$. Also, check out salonapprentice.com and see if you can find a free/cheap service as well and spend the money on some great cocktails instead!
