As those of you with curly hair know, it can be hard to find a stylist that understands how to work with curly hair and especially color it. I usually wear my hair blown out and I’m looking for a place that can do a great cut & balayage. I’m willing to travel too - definitely can be on the outskirts of LA. Something that won’t break the bank but is still pricy enough to make it clear they do a good job!

(Price ranges would also be helpful, but not a big deal!)

pomdecouer replied:Check out Art & Science on Halsted. (there are a couple other locations but this one is likely closest to you.) They have EXTREMELY talented stylists and you can see different levels of stylists for different prices. I used to see a mid level stylist (who was amazing,) and paid 50$. Also, check out salonapprentice.com and see if you can find a free/cheap service as well and spend the money on some great cocktails instead!
