Does anyone know where I can get help from the government for my son's speech delay .. My friend tell me that there is one in regina street but couldn't remember the no. I don't need kids ability, I'm already on the waiting list.
Thanks

Child and Infant Development Program is one on Regina St and until child is 3. You need referral from Dr but services are free. Kisability is free until child is 5 or in SK. Mclennan speech is a great Private therapist at $60-70 for half hour session with CDA. Blue balloon in Waterloo is also great. My son was involved with both services until he aged out and now we go privately through Mclennan Speech and with the school board
Does anyone have a recommendation for a private speech therapist? (ie. not 0-6 or KidsAbility)

Firefly is the non-funded division of KidsAbility and is in Cambridge. Same therapist's but it's paid services. Mak was with KidsAbility for years for speech and the therapists were awesome! The therapist that we now use is McLennan Speech & Language in Waterloo. http://mclennanspeech.com/
