Need a good - really good - skin specialist to review a friend's painful keloid growth. Attempts to inject it made no difference; and a recent operation at a well-known hospital to remove it seemed to work at first, but it grew back within two weeks. Seven million down the drain, and worse than before.
The doctor treating it seems stuck on using the same treatment regimen as before, despite that already having been an abject failure.
Your recommendations for an intelligent, well-trained and experienced local skin specialist would be most welcome.
