  Dan go to logo tournament.com, it's a contest where designer's from all over the world compete for a prize you set. You will 100's of entries depending on the amount of the prize. At the end of the first week, you pick five designers whose designs you like. You work one on one with them until you declare the winner. At the end you get a completely deigned logo that you choose and helped create. Got my logo done this way.
