  RENTAL NEEDED Sept 1 - I'm not buying the house - I had my heart set on a foreclosed fixer-upper but it had more fixing to be done than I am capable of on my budget. The clincher was finding out that with a Homepath Renovation loan, I have to pay all the closing costs - they can't be financed into the house. So I don't have enough savings to do that now. I'm moving out of my rental on June 9 and will be house-sitting for the summer. I will need a place to live by Labor Day. Anyone know of a low-cost rental for me and Sita in Alachua for this fall?

  CAR NEEDED! My son's aunt was in a serious car accident - she is still in hospital but will be OK - the car however is not. They have $1000 to put toward a car - anyone have one? Uncle is mechanically inclined so he can do some fix it work on it if needed. Could also potentially barter some services for part of cost if it is over $1000.   WEDNESDAY MORNING HELP! This appeared to be figured out but now there is a loose end. Gandharvika will drive Jhumur to Jacksonville tomorrow morning BUT she is in need of a ride back. Jhumur will cover gas for someone to drive to Jacksonville and pick up Gandharvika. She has evening temple service so ideally someone can get her back in the afternoon. THANKS!! Please help if you can! Call Jhumur at 352 354 1103 ASAP! OR - CAN SOMEONE COVER Gandharvika's service Wed pm so she can take the bus back Thursday morning?

  PLACE TO SWIM?? Mahattama was requesting info on places she can do therapeautic swimming (indoors or covered) in Alachua area - anyone have any suggestions? MVP suggested YMCA and I suggested Vamsi's house - This is a good forum to ask for help as well as offer resources. Any other ideas?

  Gainesville Health & Fitness might have a program to allow people to join for just a few weeks - actually if you are doing physical therapy there you get a 30 day free membership. Do note that the last week of July and first week of August the pool will be closed for resurfacing - I don't know how long Mahattama will be here. GHFC phone # is 352 377 4955.
