  Hello to all.... I am planning a trip to Italy with my son, Sam, the foodie, for several days in July. ... and we want to focus on great restaurants.. I have been to Florence, Rome and Venice - and he has not been at all - but think those cities will be incredibly touristy and overrun with Americans, especially in July - if anyone has any areas to recommend beyond those cities - I welcome their input - I am thinking about Milan and wonder what people's experiences have been....Not sure we'll do any driving, may have to rely on public transportation....Welcome ideas and recommendations...for food and hotels and experiences - want to focus $$ on food and experiences, less so on good hotels!
