  Okay group, I have already searched several different ways to make sure there wasn't already a discussion about this and I did not find much info especially for my area, but my question is: What are the top schools for makeup artistry in the USA? I am in Ohio so the closer the better but I assume the best of the best will be found in California and New York, which I'd still like to hear about. I'm interested in hearing about schools that specialize in all areas of make up artistry- not so much full on cosmetology as I have already attended cosmetology school, and not so much interested in short term courses/workshops/seminars.   I recommend www.MeeInc.me workshops hands down. Run by Donna Mee herself (I see Cindy Tran also recommended her above). She teaches you in just a couple of months what it takes most makeup artists years and years to figure out themselves and like Cindy , I highly recommend her. She really does get you on the path to success from the get go. She's actually hosting a webinar this week on bridal makeup and business that you could use as a preview to her way of teaching. I did this class and learnt more than i ever thought was possible and I hear the same thing time and again from newbies and veterans alike.   Donna Mee -Empire Academy of Makeup in Cali. I flew from sydney to cali to do her course. She is one of the best teachers ive ever come across and she really cares for her students during and after u finish her course. U can even do free revision classes which a lot of schools dont.
