  The center beam under my dad's house needs to be repaired. I was going to do it with some help from a friend but, I have a small tear in my left rotator cuff that doesn't need surgery yet. My dad is afraid if I do the work it will tear more so he wants me to hire some one to do it. So far I have called three different recommended contractors and left messages on their voice mail. I have yet to get a return call from them. Has any one had work done by a company they can recommend? The center beam needs to have two 2x8's fastened to each side and then bolted together. There are also some floor joists that need to have another one fastened to it.
