  I live on Whiteway and want to have my den enlarged into the adjacent bedroom. I'm worried about the transition from the wood in the bedroom and the cracked tile in the den. I want to put new hardwood down throughout the room once the wall is removed. Does that cracked tile come up or do you put hardwood down over it? If anyone has had this done, who did the work for you? I keep debating between remodeling/updating or moving to a neighborhood where I can buy a larger newer home. But I don't really need more square footage, I just want the house modified to suit me better. I really love this little neighborhood/neighbors so I'm trying to just slowly get the house "worked over" a bit. What cool renovations to these homes have some of you done?
