  Have you had a look at things like Basecamp or ApolloHQ? I'd been looking for something that would work for my (website design) projects and ended up using ApolloHQ for a year or so and for my projects at the time, worked. Basecamp is similar, but really, they're project management platforms and not specific to graphic design. If you just want to keep track of activities, I've been using wanderlust.com for a while now and it's really simple, but works for me
