  We had to take Siri to the vet yesterday because she would not put weight on her right hind leg and was obviously in a lot of pain. After taking x-rays they showed that she has a partial ACL tear in her right knee but they can not do surgery on her because her hips are bad. They said if they were to do knee surgery, she would probably blow her hip out. So she is on meds for 20 days but she has to rest for it to heal and it could take 6 weeks. They said it would not take much at all for it to be a total tear. Does anyone out there know of any good supplements for hip problems in big dogs? I know there are a lot out there but IDK if any of them really help.
