Hey everyone. I'm looking for preschool recommendations. My daughter is on the wait list at hope Lutheran, but I don't think she'll get in. I'm looking for three mornings a week. I live in heritage and would like something very close. Thank you!

Kellyanne Simons if you want to send me your daughter's birth date I'll check to see if I have any openings in that class. I am the director of Preschool at Woodland. Pydegler@aol.com.
Any 3 yr old preschool recommendations that you love? So many choices in the area. We may have it narrowed down to hope Lutheran and Richland Creek. Just looking for 3 hr preschool, not a whole day daycare.
Peggy D. replied:
We are so blessed to have so many wonderful preschool choices in this area with loving teachers and programs structured to provide children with a fun day of learning. Preschool at Woodland offers a 3-1/2 hour day from 9:30 to 1:00. All of our classes are full at this time but registration for the fall begins February 1 st. Please let me know if we can help you with preschool needs. www.PreschoolAtWoodland.com.

Whitney we are blessed with many wonderful preschool programs in the Wake Forest/North Raleigh area. Adriana is correct when she says visit those you are interested in and you will know what feels right for your child. Please do let me know if I can help you. Most ended their program last week and a lot of us will end this week but all of us will do parent tours throughout the summer. We fill up quickly as well. Best of luck with your search. Looking for an AFFORDABLE preschool for my 4 (almost 5) year old. We recently relocated and my budget isn't used to the prices in this area. Any recommendations?
ISO wake forest or north Raleigh preschool that offers 1-2day/ week program for 3-4 year olds. Who do you recommend and how is the tuition?
Maria C. replied:
The Preschool at Woodland does have a wonderful preschool. The tuition is considered lower compared to other preschools in the area. Please contact Peggy Degler, the program director. http://www.preschoolatwoodland.com/
I'm searching for a 2-3 day a week affordable camp for my 7 yr old. Preferably half day only. Does anyone have recommendations?

Preschool at Woodland is hosting a summer camp July 20-July 24. 9:00-1:00. My daughter went to the first session in June and had a blast! Our preschool director, Peggy Degler, could give tout registration information!
I'm looking for a preschool for my daughter for the fall. Her birthday is in October (she'll turn 4) and I'm having trouble finding a school that will put her in with the 4 year olds. Can anyone recommend a school that isn't strict about the state age cut off? Thanks!
Peggy D. replied:
Rachel I am the director of Preschool at Woodland. I have a 3 day 4's and I have a 4 day Pre-k 4. Both are almost full for the fall. There are many great programs in this area to choose from but classrooms for this age group fill quickly. Please contact me if I can help you. PreschoolAtWoodland.com.
Amanda K. replied:
Preschool at Woodland is great. I'm not sure about moving up, but the director does take into account social and educational development as well as anticipated school start date so I'd try there. My friend Peggy Degler is the director and would be a good resource. Thales Academy is also great, and I know without a doubt they will place up if space is available and the cutoff is October 31. It's 5 days, and is a little pricier than Woodland, but another sound option. If you're open to an all day program, my oldest did pre-K at Creative Child and was above/beyond prepared for K.
I'm curious about recommendations for part time daycare/preschool for a 2 yr old. Only 1-2 days a week, prefer half days.
