  I used Tucson Plumbing recently for the same thing. (Expect about $400 or so to get it stopped.) To come back and fix it, their estimate was $3,500-$5,000 (my house was built in 1948, and it's 95 feet from the house to the meter. These folks - http://www.professionalpsd.com/ came out with another solution for only about $500.
