  We live in Maple Valley and are looking to adopt a puppy preferably a medium to large dog. ( border collie,Labrador, ect...). Everything we find online is very expensive and they are not even pure bred. We arn't looking for that anyways just want a puppy that will grow into a nice family dog. Our family dog right now is 15 years old and my husband has had her since she was a puppy and we would love to have a puppy that she can help train. Does anyone know of someone that has puppies or a place that adopts them out with out charging a large Re-homing or adoption fee? Already tried the humane society and was told they don't ever receive puppies.

  Please go to a shelter or a rescue - there are so many dogs that are killed daily - and a lot of them are purebred. Please don't encourage breeders - we have enough unwanted pets already.   ***ATTENTION*** We need someone who can go pick up Lucy in Tacoma ASAP. Someone without other dogs, as she MAY have a contagious rash (not sure) and want to be on the safe side. The awesome lady that took her for the night has another dog so Lucy can't be inside with him and she is so stressed and scared right now that she is becoming a danger to herself and the yard she's in. Who can help? Someone who can love on her one on one and keep her in a calm house until we can figure something out?
