Halp. Car repair shop suggestions. I know enough about cars to know that there is something decently wrong with mine. I don't want to go to someplace like a dealership cause I know they will charge me through the nose.
Do you have any suggestions for an honest mom/pop kind of car place?
Availability is not a concern, I just want to find a place where I can start to build a relationship with the mechanics.
Thanks!

I've had great luck with [Brookside Auto RX](https://www.brooksideautorx.com/). The manager - Clint - is a great guy. My neighbors recommended the place to me and after checking out the reviews, I went there. Great guy / nice place. Also: [Autopia](http://www.autopiakc.com/) in Lenexa is great if you have a German car.
