Iso: internet provider for a decent price other then charter optimum or whatever there name is...
Missy C. replied:
Wyoming.com you may have to be put on a waiting list but it's atleast reliable service for a decent price
Judy C. replied:
We use Wyoming.com and have had really good service.
Jasper A. replied:
Switched from wyoming.com to wind river internet. The service is faster and more reliable.
Jen S. replied:
Good to hear there is another option than just wyoming .com. I will be moving outside of town where it was the only option. Thanks for the info on Wind River Internet.
Im a little new here so I was wondering a few things, if not allowed I undetstand. Does anyone know what cable company serves Burma Road beside wyoming.com, which totally sucks! I also due in Sept is there any mommy and me classes here? Thanks guys!
Joe N. replied:
Yup. And wyoming.com has upgraded their service out this direction recently if it's Internet that your talking about
Francine W. replied:
I live by Devil's Pit and have had Wyoming.com for years with no problems except my trees are getting in the way of my signal.
Laramie C. replied:
Wyoming.com does suck. Poor signal and I have direct line of sight to their tower. They have way too many people on their towers. One of their guys told me that they need too upgrade their towers, but are too greedy too spend money. He said when contract runs out go with. A different company
I agree either Wyoming.com or century link. Do not go through Hughes I had them and hated their service.
Kitana R. replied:
I have Wyoming.com since I can't use charter. And so far no problems. Century link sucked when we had them. .never got what we were supposed to for speed and they said it was working every time so idk. I wouldn't do them.
Renford J. replied:
Wyoming . Com
Kirbie D. replied:
I loved charter when we had it. Had no problems ever! We moved out of town and unfortunately have to use Wyoming .com I absolutely hate it but it's the only service offered here :( it's so spotty and will go out all the time and they just say they're working on it
Patrick S. replied:
This is a common problem around here. Those of us that live out of town a ways either have to pay the expensive fees and get crappy service from Wyoming..com or face massive overage charges from satellite internet. Charter really is the best and cheapest provider. If you can get it tho. I and many others unfortunately cannot
Anyone have a recommendation for best internet provider ?
Karlee L. replied:
Wyoming.com but they take forever to set up
Jenn O. replied:
Wyoming.com Is a great provider. We have been with them for three years i believe and are very satisfied with not only the service but the company as a whole.
Katsie M. replied:
Following...Hutchinson area (Wyoming.com can't provide our service as they can't connect to a tower?!)
Kirbie D. replied:
I don't recommend Wyoming.com at all. They make you sign a contract which is fine but, if you move and you move to a place that they don't cover you're out of luck. They were so rude and awful about the whole thing. Wanted to charge us over 400 to get out of it and we would have stayed but they didn't offer coverage. It was a huge mess! Plus they were expensive and we had awful internet service
Jeremy J. replied:
Highly recommend Charter. Wyoming.com and century link are garbage
Jones L. replied:
Wind river internet. Fiber optic supported. By far better then. Wyoming.com. 1.5 mb. Wind river. Unlimited 5 mb and 10 mb
Stephen G. replied:
I'm in the Farson area and everyone I know over here is very happy with Wyoming.com! Our Netflix and internet gaming has always worked great. So has our internet!
Cheryl S. replied:
Wyoming.com
Kirbie D. replied:
I lived out on Jennings. We could never watch a movie on Netflix and our wifi was so spotty all the time it shut on and off. They came out 4 times to fix it and charged us everytime and it never got fixed. We now have charter internet just Internet and we've never had a problem. We pay less than what Wyoming. Com charged
Jones L. replied:
Wyoming . Com is slower being pushed out by wind river. In most areas
Kris S. replied:
Depends on your location and what you plan on using your connection for. If you're wanting to stream Netflix and other video or TV services you do not want Wyoming.com. if you are simply doing emails and small file transfers associated with a small business then Wyoming.com will fulfill your needs.
Charter is not anywhere near as good as Optimum was but they are still acceptable for online gaming and streaming. And I myself have Charter and my internet usage is way above average and I never experience outages that aren't scheduled.
Wind river internet is a solid choice for rural internet service and services most of the wind river basin and Indian reservation. They rely on line of sight for signal and quality of service with them is reliant on that line of sight. But its a much better choice than Wyoming.com.
CenturyLink is a waste of time.
ISO: internet provider for out of town? any advice on who is best? :)
Brittney M. replied:
Out of town unlimited data wyoming.com
Kris S. replied:
This is what it's capable of but they only offer 10MB. The 10MB package is 89.95 a month I think. Still way above and beyond Wyoming.com and CenturyLink. Plus his service is great, He will go out in the middle of the night in a blizzard to make sure your service is working. Wyoming.com and CenturyLink are very sad excuses for ISPs. Empty promises when it comes to download/upload and totally unreliable customer service.
Kirbie D. replied:
I hated wyoming.com when I lived out of town. Made us sign a 2 year contract well then we moved and was going to have them move with us well they didn't have internet where we moved so I tried to figure out what to do about the contract well they tried to charge us 500 it's not my fault we moved and they didn't provide it where we moved to
Dan C. replied:
Nic....We got two new towers going up right now that you might be able to hit with our Next Gen equipment at Wyoming.com. You can call our sales office and we can do a free Line of Site check on it. 307-856-6400
Michelle D. replied:
We live 30 miles out and Wyoming.com is the best!
Kelley K. replied:
I have verizon 8 miles north of RIverton.... Wyoming, com didn't work good out here
Iso-Internet company in Riverton. Moving to the area need to get it set up. THANKS
April W. replied:
Wyoming.com
Sabrina S. replied:
We've used Wyoming.com for yrs now and are completely happy w/ them. :)
Scott S. replied:
I was a manager at most of the "major" internet company's in Riverton including Wyoming.com the best would be Optimum it is the fastest up load and download
Does anyone know of someone looking for a graphic designer? ANYWHERE.... lol It's time to put this degree to use, despite any fears involved. I would just start up my own company but it costs too much money that I don't have lol.
