  Hello everyone, I am looking for an experienced wedding planner/coordinator that will let me assist her in weddings. I love weddings, decorating and design. I did day of coordination for a couple small weddings in OC and I did like it but I would love to assist an experienced wedding planner to learn more. Also do you have to be a wedding planner to join the association? or just be in the wedding industry? Thank you in advance for your help and support.

  Take classes - visit www.pennfoster.com or www.bridalassn.com and take a course - before the decision is made. :) Also try and shadow a planner for a day to learn what really happens - it's not like TV.
