About us
My name is Kieron Piper, and I am an Animal Behaviourist operating in the greater Cape Town area, South Africa.
My work focuses on shifting people’s paradigms about the rich emotional lives that their pet dogs and cats lead, and educating the average pet owner on how to achieve a stable and productive relationship through force-free training and understanding on how your animals feel, think and learn.
My biggest goal is to dispel common misconceptions about dominance and to provide valid and sensible information on better ways to achieve compliance in your pet dog and cat.
I have Diploma in companion Animal Behaviour Therapy through ThinkingPets COAPE SA, and a BTech in Nature Conservation. I am also a level 5 ThinkingPets instructor, and run 3 puppy schools in the CBD, hotu Bay and Rondebosch.
I also co-own a large training school geared toward strengthening relationships between owners and their pets, and we cover everything from basic obedience, general handling, Canine good citizen, trick training, and introduction to basic agility.
I also tutor the Confi-Puppy Instructors Training Course through ThinkingPets for people wanting to start their own puppy schools, and consult full time as a behaviourist.
