need a new t5 fixture and bulb. Any idea where the best priced one might be found? I prefer Arcadia but I'm not finding a good price anywhere googling
Nathalie N. replied:
You can use sunblaster fixtures (T5HO) with these bulbs. Buy the bulbs at Pangea reptile dot com, thebiodude.com, reptilebasics.com or lightyourreptiles.com
Where can I find the best deals on lighting? I have an Amazon gift card I wanna spend if you have a suggested seller. Or any other recommendations welcome as well.

Where is a good store/website to buy repashy calcium plus lod? I'm currently just feeding my crickets carrots, but would like to give my panther a better supplement and have the added benefit of multi vitamins (once a month). I can get it on eBay but would like to support a reptile store if possible before I go the eBay route.
Anyone know where else to buy UVB bulbs other than LLL Reptile? They're the least expensive I was able to find. It used to be that I didn't care about buying them from Petco or Petsmart but this time I'm buying a couple hoods and four florescent bulbs.

Ok guys heat tape? Where can I find it what's the best way to install. New to this racking system stuff
John B. replied:
You can get it at Www.reptilebasics.com most snakes do better with belly heat (under the tub). Arboreal reptiles, back heat. It helps with ambient heat.
Don C. replied:
Measure the distance you want the heat tape to cover. (3 bins 12 inches) need 3, 12 inch heat tapes. buy from Reptile Basics including the connectors. and have them assemble for you. Buy the HobbyStat Thermostat from them, that is all you should need. 400 watts. Tape the heat strips to the tubs with foil tape Buy a power strip plug in all 3 heat strips then the power strip to the Thermostat. Place the thermostat probe in the center spot of the bins .Set temp then you are done.
Question:
Does anyone know of a good website to buy reptile bulbs, heating pads, timers, temperature and humidity guages?
I don't want cheap pet store stuff. Would rather good quality stuff that will last.
Mark R. replied:
Reptilebasics.com has a good selection but you won't find too much more of a selection of 'unknown' brands not found in stores.
Melinda M. replied:
For heat I go to Reptile Basics. The Accurite digital thermometer/hygrometer at WalMart for $20 is decent quality. Obviously you don't want to skimp on your thermostat, I'd go with Herpstats as they have a great reputation.
Does anyone know where I can get rubber tipped feeding tongs? Used to order them from beardeddragon.co but they are no longer on their site. Any help is appreciated!

you can buy a set online at like reptilebasics.com or lllreptile.com the key to using probes properly is make sure you use the proper size and also lubricating it with vaseline makes it easier.
So I recently ordered the 22 inch T12 Arcadia bulb for my cham from repitlebasics, and was also going to order the 24 inche T5 HO fixture as well. Sadly, they are out of stock. Is there any where else you guys would recommend to purchase a fixture to accommodate the Arcadia bulb?
