  What happened to G & E Auto Repair? Did they go out of business? The signs are down and the building looks like its been cleaned out. I need an honest and reliable mechanic in the Lockhart/Luling area to take my truck to. I've had some bad experiences with other mechanics in the area (Mike's Auto Repair in particular) and G&E was the only shop I found that didn't try to screw me by making repairs that I didn't authorize and unreasonably marking up the price of parts. I'm now pretty leery of most mechanics around here based on those experiences. Can anyone make any recommendations for a trustworthy and honest mechanic, especially one that will let me provide my own parts if necessary?
