MMO Preschool Programs is truly unlike any other early learning center. We provide our students a rich, nurturing learning experience while accommodating the busy schedules of today’s families. MMO Preschool Program’s educational philosophy supports a highly-trained staff and a respectful environment that fosters all areas of child development within the community of the classroom and beyond. We understand the importance of each child’s learning style and growth. One critical way we support this is with low adult/child ratios in each program. Bright, spacious classrooms as well as both indoor and outdoor play areas provide a warm, inviting environment that stimulates both physical and mental creativity. Our play-based approach encourages discovery, inquiry and problem solving from our youngest students through Pre-K. The MMO Preschool Community is comprised of families who live and work in Montclair and the surrounding communities.
The First Congregational Church in Montclair, NJ established Mother’s Morning Out Programs (hence the acronym MMO) in 1982 as a non-sectarian, non profit child care opportunity for parents for a few hours each morning. Since then, MMO Preschool Programs is fully licensed by the State of New Jersey and now serves students 12 weeks to 5 years. We operate from 7:30 to 6:30 and offer full time, part time, school year and summer programs with extended enrichment care options.
Daycare? Anyone have good daycare recommendations? Ideally around Upper, but wherever a good one is I'm interested. Seems to be a lot of smaller mom and pop style places run out of houses. We are moving from the city and aren't super familiar with that sort of setup. Looking for something ideally for the full 6 month - PreK age range.

Hi Everyone! I'm currently looking for a school/daycare for my 5 year old. He turns 5 on October 22 so he missed the cutoff for kindergarten. Any recommendation in the Bloomfield area. Need extended hours 7-6:30.

I have a very active 18 month old daughter who loves to be around other little kids. I'm trying to find a daycare to put her in (part time/mornings) . Recommendations please! Thank you :)
