Any Black Owned Salons or Salons that know how to work on curly hair? I wanted to get my hair dyed then later cut short. I walked into a Supercuts since it was a hair stylist place closest to my house but they just shoo'd me away ???
I'm just assuming they don't know how to work with curly hair. Anyone know any good salons that know how to do hair that's affordable ? Or at least good at their job

Black girls of SF: Best place to get my hair colored I'm looking to get my hair colored a really nice pastel pink (if possible). Anyone know of a great stylist in SF (maybe east bay too) that can color a black girl's hair without ruining the hair?

My roommate got her hair dyed recently and it came out great. She said it took her nearly a year to find this place and she loves it. http://www.hairplay.com/ It's on page at franklin
