  Does anyone in the WC area know of a business that can transfer slides and old tape recordings to digitals? I am ready to transfer all the thousands of slides and tapes I have taken over the past 32 years while fieldwork and then share the digitalized versions in university collections throughout Papua New Guinea along with my other archives. I know I can get good deals through Scan Café but am nervous about the possibility of losing irreplaceable historical photos and tapes. Not looking forward to having to pay for all of this but well that is the way it goes.
