I am looking to improve the diet of my GCC Tommy by giving him a good pelleted diet but none of my local pet shops, or pet shops in neighbouring towns, sell a thing other than seed mixes. I live in the UK so my options are already limited by that so it looks like I’ll have to order some from online. I would really appreciate any recommendations that I could purchase from somewhere like Amazon as I don’t really know what brand/type would be best to use.

  I second Fiona Owen and Brian Hyde. Rainsbrook are excellent. Also, if your dog ever gets a prescription, including flea and worming treatments, don't get the drugs from the vet. Save yourself a fortune, go to http://www.animeddirect.co.uk, upload a scan of the prescription and away you go. At least 30% cheaper and often more.

  I would advise anyone who had pets that need long term drugs to buy the prescription (cost me £9 for 3 months) and buy the drugs through animed direct pay for it and send prescription straight off as soon as it arrives at animed it,s sent out as24 hour delivery post free in most cases.
