  I and my mother both use the Court Street Jeweler/the Court Jeweler. He's a gruff old soul, but he does superb work, and knows to value people's jewelry. He's located at 60 Court Street in Brooklyn, but his hours are a bit wonky - you might want to call first - (718) 834-8940.
