  Advice needed please? I have a seriously, seriously overgrown hedge and can't seem to find advice on Google for how to trim the top of it. We're not talking thin stems here, I guess the average stem is about 5 to 7mm with the occasional branch up to 20mm. I've got a thick pair of loppers and a powerful set of electric double sided hedge trimmers, but it's just taken me 20 minutes to do a 30cm length. It will take me forever to do the 12m remaining! Can anyone advise me on what tool to hire? Cheers!
