  ATTENTION MECHANICS!!! Hello Facebook friends! I'm in dire need of a reliable mechanic to diagnose, and hopefully repair an issue I'm having with my 2000 Volvo S-40. The car doesn't start. The problem seems to be with the ignition; when I turn the key, all of the lights go on, but the engine doesn't even try to turn over. It doesn't click or sputter. Someone mentioned the possibility of it being the neutral safety switch. It seems as if the engine isn't recognizing the car is in park, so won't allow it to start. If there's anyone who can shed some light on the situation, share some insight, refer me to a trustworthy, inexpensive mechanic, or allow me to hire you, I'd really appreciate it.
