It was September 1987 and loud screams of STEVE!!! Are you sure you know what your DOING ??" could be heard coming from Mr Garry Chapman in the basement of the Great 'Musical Exchanges' on Birmingham's Old Snow Hill. The screams were aimed at me. I had a customers very expensive Roland Jupiter 8 in bits all over my bench. I did sort out the Jupiter 8 and have been repairing musician's electronic gear ever since. Having being previously based at Musical Exchanges, Sound Control and Reverb, the workshop has recently moved into the fabulous Madhouse Rehearsals, 41-43 Hampton Street, Birmingham B19 3LS.
