About us
Our Handyperson Service is opening in Leighton Buzzard! But that is only the start. We have plans to open this Service in other localities. Before we do, we want to test out, refine and improve our systems and organisation. Our aim is to provide our customers with the kind of service quality that we would want for ourselves, or for our own families.
Safe and Healthy Homes has done a lot of work with local Councils, housing associations, charities, and other organisations in the last few years. All our Directors have direct experience of working in local authority services at senior level, and in the delivery of these and other related services. This has brought us into contact with the many individuals, organisations, and companies who need a little extra help from time to time.
We also know from our more recent work with other organisations such as local authorities and housing associations that many of them have closed, or are in the process of closing, their own Handyperson schemes. Nevertheless, the people who have relied on these services are still there, and still need these services.
We are starting to respond to this need by opening our own service. It is built on our guiding principles of integrity, reliability, efficiency, effectiveness – and value for money. To demonstrate this we have obtained a Government Trustmark.
We intend to be successful, by successfully helping people and other organisations.
