About us
We started in Taichung 26 years ago with a small shop making and selling French style ice-cream and sorbets. The business quickly morphed into a restaurant offering Tex-Mex meals on Fridays and French cuisine on Saturday and Sunday, (because the French car makers were still in Taichung and were very hungry). The business grew quickly because I was the first in the city with proper western tucker along side Luigi and Russell (Napoli's). It wasn't long before I told my wife Lily that we needed a bigger place and so we opened up Finga's Italian on Ching Cheng rd, and that place went off, taking me with it. A couple of moves later and a few mistakes and I find myself still in the game but a brand new locale. Right now I am in the tweaking stage of menu production with a wealth of ideas wondering which ones to leave out....wish me luck wont you all...Dereke Bruce
People! Urgent question. Do you guys know where to get awesome loaves of bread?! Non of those soft, little, sweetened asian ones. Like sourdough breads, and wholemeal, white or Multigrain breads. Even Coles quality ones are fine.

If you want authentic, then Fingas https://www.facebook.com/fingastaiwan
Anyone knows who has Dr Pepper available? I know Jason's is out (at least it has been for awhile) but don't have time to search the normal spots. Wondering if City Super and Fingas have it.
