  Need a hairdresser! Long story sorry. I tried to go blonde at a hairdresser as it is not something I would want to risk doing at home. Unfortunately seeing a hairdresser didnt do me any favours as the result was losing half my hair and cutting it super short. As it was so damaged I could not continue with the process. I was advised to dye back to my natural colour and grow hair out. My hair has been progressively getting darker to the point It pretty much black with red undertones. All the blonde is now grown out and I continue to see a different hairdresser at the same place but they just keep telling me to stay dark, I dont want to! I dont like it! I feel like I look really washed out and would love to lighten with someone who really knows what they are doing in the most gradual way possible. Im not a fan of foils as I want my hair to be the same colour all over when the process is finished. Can it be done? Can anyone help me? I have big trust issues now and do t push with my hairdresser as dark is safest but I want to feel good about the way I look. So I really want some advice and recommendations of people who really know what they are doing. Tia
