  Hi Dan, as a builder, I interact with buyers' home inspectors pretty often. From the ones I have met, I was impressed with Tom Herbst the most. His company Clayton Home Inspection - (978) 897-7167. I was very impressed that he was thorough, patient and was giving great deal of education to my buyers. His inspection report was very detailed but not filled with fluff (yes, a lot of them are). He clearly identified areas for improvement vs. nice to haves Vs. non-issues. That made the process go smoother. Good luck.
