Offer discounts or coupons. I would rather frequent or shop from someone I know, give them the credit, maybe purchase something or have my car worked on by someone reputable, maybe recommended.   I have owned Suburban Car and Truck for the last 36 years we are a top shop with AAA with means we are in the top 10% and we have a A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
