Looking for some trainer suggestions... I live in the Rome area and don't mind a little travel to find a trainer that fits my needs, but no more than an hour and half or so. I have an Arabian/ Trakehner mare that I think I would like to start in dressage. I say think because I'm not opposed to jumping, etc if it seems a better fit for the horse so a trainer that is well versed in both would be great. The mare is 7, but only recently started under saddle so a trainer with experience teaching a rider how to bring a young horse up the levels is imperative. I have 15+ years experience training/ showing the Arabian circuit but this will be my first time dabbling in the sport horse world. Its exciting and a little intimidating. Trainer must be open to Arabians ( I know there are plenty who are not!) So, I'm looking to trailer in for lessons on occasion as my budget and schedule will allow and perhaps meet up for coaching at schooling shows/ clinics etc as we progress. Thanks in advance for any info for the area!
