  Can anyone give me a very rough estimate of how much it would be to have our carpets professionally cleaned? Our house is 1500 square feet but only about half has carpet. I realize a company could give me a better estimate but I'm just trying to get any kind of idea of how much it might cost.

  Nicole Bond, in a typical house just under half the square footage of a home is carpet. With a 1500 sqft home you are looking at 750 sqft of carpet. Most cleaners have a deal for 800 sqft. Our company is $159.95 for that. Goodscentscarpetcleaning.com
